Subaru appoints new Manger of Corporate Communications

Subaru of America, Inc. today announced the appointment of Heather Ward to manager of corporate communications. Reporting to the irector of corporate communications for Subaru, Ward will be responsible for the company's corporate and internal communications.

"We are very pleased to have Heather join Subaru," said Michael McHale, director of corporate communications, Subaru of America, Inc. "She will be a great asset to the team as she has extensive retail, service and automotive aftermarket experience."

Ward began her public relations career interning with Newsweek Magazine in New York City as an assistant publicist. From there, she joined automotive after market, retail and service chain, Pep Boys in Philadelphia, beginning as a communications specialist and was subsequently promoted to public relations manager. Ward then worked at Raymour & Flanigan Furniture as PR manager and helped grow the public relations arm of the business. Before coming to Subaru, she worked as Regional Marketing Manager for Commerce Bank.
