General Motors South Africa launched a tree planting project at Pendla Primary School in New Brighton, one of Port Elizabeth’s oldest townships, this week.
This initiative entails planting 100 trees at schools across disadvantaged communities in Nelson Mandela Bay. While green technology and global warming make world wide headlines, General Motors South Africa seeks to enhance awareness in local communities where ecological education has yet to become a priority.
