Infiniti, the global luxury brand of Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., announced the release of the all-new Infiniti G37 sedan in Korea.
The all-new Infiniti G37 sedan succeeds the previous G35 sedan, which has been leading it's segment and been a key factor in driving Infiniti's growth in Korea. The Infiniti G37 delivers more power and performance through its new engine and transmission, while achieving the highest level of fuel efficiency among competitors at 9.5 km/L.
The Infiniti G37 sedan is equipped with the V6 3.7L VQ37VHR engine, which is the only engine in the world to have made Ward's 10-best engines list for the past 14 consecutive years. It generates maximum power of 330hp and maximum torque of 36.8Kgm. The VVEL (Variable Valve Event and Lift) system contributes to the fuel economy, as well as clean emissions. An all-new 7-speed automatic transmission delivers the balance between performance and economy.
The G37 sedan is available in Premium and Sport versions, both outfitted with cutting-edge technologies. The all-new G37 also comes with more features and enhanced equipment offered as standard. This includes Scratch Guard Coat and an Advanced Climate Control System. On the Sport version, standard features include wide screen navigation, Bluetooth and Adoptive Front Lighting System. The Premium version is available at 49 million won (including VAT) and the Sport version is available at 52.2 million won (including VAT).
Infiniti now has four dealerships in Korea - two in Seoul, one in Bundang and one in Busan. In fiscal year 2007, owing to the strong sales of the G35 sedan, Infiniti sold 3,340 units, representing a growth of more than 65 percent compared to the previous year.
